My mission is to enable women of all ages, shapes and sizes to be able to individualize their style of dress and accessories.

This means that I aim to assist you in designing and creating garments that are not only age appropriate, but figure flattering and designed to suit the occasion.

I would also like to offer you the service of replicating your “old favourite” garments. Perhaps your favourite clothing store has changed their designs, or if you have a garment that you absolutely love, and it’s getting a bit old and worn - I can make a pattern from it and make you a brand new garment in your choice of fabric and colour.

Alterations are welcome too - from hems and waistband adjustments on pants and skirts, to hems and alterations (including beading) on both debutante & bridal dresses or gowns.


To give you an idea of what to expect, the usual dressmaking process is as follows:

	Discuss design, colours, fabrics, undergarments, shoes, and deadlines.
	Meet & finalise design and fabrics.
	Work agreement is signed and your deposit is paid.
	Your measurements are taken.
	Calico fitting of a mock-up of your final design.
	Fabric fitting of the garment.
	Final fitting to ensure a perfect fit.
	Garment pickup.

More appointments may be necessary depending on the garment complexity and the fitting requirements of the garment.

Please note - this does not include fabric, lining, thread, zips and other materials.
